“A Time You Worked On a Team”

Two things matter more than the rest here. First, the specific piece youpersonally owned — if you write the whole thing as “we,” the interviewer finishes the story knowing nothing about you, which is the single most common way this question gets wasted. Second, the friction: the disagreement about approach, the dependency that showed up late, the unclear boundary between two people's work. A story where everyone got along and it went fine gives the interviewer nothing to score. Leave it blank and you'll get the structure with placeholders to fill.
